Registered Clinical Counsellor
MA & PHD

Hi, I'm Jilleun.

I’m passionate about helping neurodivergent people learn to treat themselves with more love, compassion, respect and to better recognize the gifts that they walk with.

As a Coast Salish Indigenous advocate and community member, I am knowledgeable about the generational challenges faced by people from both Indigenous and Western cultures. I have specialized training in trauma recovery and anti-oppressive counselling practices as well as short-term and somatic therapy.

I specialize in supporting adolescents, adults, couples, and families with various mental health and relational issues. I support people who would like someone to walk alongside them as they navigate issues like: ADD/ADHD, Autism, Depression, Anxiety and Panic, Trauma, Existential Issues, Suicidal Thoughts and Self-Harm, Addiction, Interpersonal Difficulties and more. My approach includes a variety of evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Strengths-Focused Therapy as well as the Gottman method for couple's work.

The therapeutic alliance is key to your healing process, and seeking out assistance is one of the most difficult tasks for a human being to do. I thank you for the opportunity to walk this journey with you.

HÍSW̱ḴE (Thank you)
