A Note from the Centre's Founder, Kat
So many people experience relief when they come in for counselling and learn about their ADHD. It can help the world make more sense. You are not just lazy, hopelessly forgetful, or useless! There are reasons why your brain is the way that it is, and there are workarounds to manage your symptoms.
I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult. Doing my own work in therapy helped me learn to function exponentially better. I went from miserable and sick, scattered as fudge, and pulled in many directions at once, to figuring out how to work with my uniquely wired brain, and how to cultivate fulfilling relationships.
And I made it my mission to help others do the same, because life is so much better with secure and fulfilling love relationships.
