Registered Clinical Counsellor
M.Sc, Ph.D (cand)

Hi, I’m Debra.

I believe that healing occurs within genuine and compassionate relationships. As a fellow neurodivergent human, I am dedicated to nurturing an affirming and collaborative space where we can explore what makes you feel grounded, connected, and fulfilled. I value your wisdom from your life experience. My role is to accompany you on your journey of self-discovery and meaning-making.

My practice is anchored in person-centered, relational, and systemic values. I draw from dialectical behaviour therapy, psychodynamic therapy, narrative therapy, somatic and mindfulness techniques, and trauma-informed and body liberation theories. As a white settler and cis-woman, living on unceded lək̓ʷəŋən territories, I am committed to learning about the harms of colonialism and I strive to practice from an anti-oppressive lens.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Masters in Clinical Psychology. I welcome folks who are seeking support and affirmation with:

  • ADHD & executive functioning challenges

  • Relationship concerns

  • Trauma and meaning-making

  • OCD

  • Anxiety

  • Post-concussive symptoms

  • Chronic pain

  • Grief

I am also a Body Trust Certification Trainee, and I welcome folks at the intersections of body diversity, neurodiversity, (dis)ability, who may hold complicated relationships with food and movement and who are seeking weight-inclusive care.

(Please note Debra is no longer accepting new clients or adding new clients to her waitlist. Existing clients can use the link below to schedule a follow up appointment).
